How engagements are structured
Three structures, scoped and priced to the work.
Every engagement uses one of these structures, or a combination.
Engagement structures and what each is best for
| Structure | Best for | What's committed |
| Retainer | Fractional leadership and ongoing advisory; typically a three-month minimum | A set number of hours reserved each week or month. That time is held for you. |
| Fixed project fee | Defined deliverables with a clear scope and end date, such as a PMO build or a controls system | The agreed deliverables and dates. Meeting the timeline is Andrew's responsibility. |
| Hourly | Targeted help or reviews with a defined scope of work | Discrete deadlines for each piece of work, met regardless of other commitments. |
Pricing is set after a short scoping conversation, because the right structure depends on
scope, timeline, and how much senior time the work needs. You'll receive a written proposal and statement of
work with the fee, structure, and any not-to-exceed amount before any commitment, so procurement and finance have
everything they need up front.
